Daniel J Walker

Hello, my name is Daniel J Walker, most people know me as Danny.  I have been working in the film industry ever since I graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 2006.  Out of college, I co-edited direct to DVD, independent feature film, Palo Alto, CA (no not the James Franco one.)  From there I got hooked on working in Avid and edited for former FunnyOrDie.com website, EatDrinkOrDie as well as several instructionals ranging from baby sleeping to directing actors.

From there I dove into the VFX world with Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader, learning Assimilate Scratch on the fly in order to playback full resolution 2k DPX files both in mono and stereoscopic 3D.  Fox latched onto me a that point working from show to show and most recently finishing Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.  With Dawn, I expanded my roles and abilities into the world of temp compositing, conforming cuts in Scratch with synced audio, as well as expanding my Filemaker database prowess.

For those who have wondered about the @orderedchaosent.com email address, the name Ordered Chaos has stayed with me since high school and something I've used for a long time since first developing my of website and work-only email address.
